Rugen offers a lot of interesting museums and exhibitions especially by local artists, like e.g. the amber museum in Sellin (www.bernsteinmuseum-sellin.de) or the museum ship Luise in Göhren. About actual and coming exhibition you may get information at the reception desk.
Gallery Hartwich

KDF – Museum Prora
An 18 meters model installation, documentations of contemporary witnesses, a documentary movie and the gallery „Rugenfreunde“ with over 500 typical objects from Rugen made using many artistical methods are looking forward to welcome you.
Fishing and Harbour Museum at Sassnitz
The 1996 opened museum presents fishing, harbour and city history of the last 100 years with 12 focuses on 300 m². The ferry connection to Trelleborg is also shown as the harbours of Sassnitz and Mukran. The main attraction of the museum is a 26 meter long boat.
